What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Our Core Values? Live for Christ…

We believe in Love

God is love.

We believe in Intercession.

All Christian life is ungirded by prayers. Each of is called to minister one another.

We believe in Victory.

Christ has won the spiritual battle, and we just need to claim his victory.

We believe in Evangelism.

Christians must take the message of Jesus to others.

We believe in Faith.

The basis for a Christian life is the ability to openly believe in the mystery of God’s divine nature.  That he is merciful and faithful to forgive us and cleanse us if we will walk with him by faith.

We believe in Outreach.

Christ’s earthly ministry was devoted to reaching sinners.  He came into the world with a purpose of reaching out to man with perfect love.  He gave us a merciful gift by providing the ultimate sacrifice for the truly needy.

We believe in Relationships.

People are God’s Church.  Each and every one is important to God.  Christ encouraged Christians to persevere in times of trouble and to lean on our brothers in times of need.  We all need to be ministers one to another.

We believe in Compassion.

Christ demonstrates God’s compassion for people.  While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  There is no greater love than when a man lays down his life for a brother.

We believe in Hope.

Christ provides eternal hope.  No matter what background, family history, social status, unmet spiritual, physical, emotional or financial needs you have Christ provides the answer.

We believe in Relevancy.

Christ is relevant in our lives today.  Many people are hurting today.  Christ’s Love is relevant in that it is the only medicine that can heal the wounds of the soul and restore people in their daily lives.

We believe in Instruction.

Christ studied the scriptures to know God’s purpose for his life.  Preaching the Gospel, educating people about Jesus is the way toward a closer relationship with God.

We believe in Salvation.

Christ intentionally sought out lost individuals for God’s kingdom.  Christ depicts the perfect relationship to the father and is the model for our prayer, worship, praise, celebration, and life.

We believe in Truth.

Christ was born of a virgin, died on the cross for our sins, was buried in a borrowed tomb, and rose to life conquering death forever and ever.
