Our Story

Hope Christian Center was started by three families with the goal of serving God for their generation.  To build on the foundation of Jesus Christ for future generations.  We desire a more streamlined process of ministry. What we call a permission giving Church. Believers are empowered by Jesus to and equipped by the Church to fulfill their purpose under God.
We began meeting in my home in October of 1998.  As we grew we moved to the local Church Camp, and VFW building in Milton, WV.  We purchased a modular unit designed for ministry and launched our first service there on April 4, 1999.  (See pictures below)

Our Mission is to provide…

•   Hope for the lost through intentionally befriending and accepting the unchurched and sharing Christ’s love.
• Help for the needy by providing a meaningful ministry that addresses practical and relevant concerns.
• Home for the believer by providing exciting opportunities to exercise spiritual gifts and disciple others.

We desire to live out this mission by embodying our core values and to live for Christ.

With our mission and vision in mind, we plan to grow The Kingdom and expand our reach.
