Michael Lewis
Senior Pastor
I am Michael D. Lewis, serving as the pastor of Hope Christian Center. My journey into ministry began in 1993 when I felt the call to serve and was ordained by both the Southern Baptist Convention and the American Baptist Churches USA. Through a national initiative aimed at planting churches, I established Hope Christian Center in 1998 after completing training at Green Lake Conference Center in Wisconsin. My early years were shaped by diverse church experiences, from attending Bethesda United Methodist Church to experiencing a significant moment of confession and conversion at Antioch Baptist Church. It was a wakeup call that led me to reconsider my path. Eventually, I found myself attending services at Union Baptist Church. I attribute my survival and achievements to God's grace and firmly believe that He has a purpose for my life. I'm grateful for my children, Mary Kathryn Lewis and Michael Andrew Lewis, who bring me immense joy. Guided by unwavering faith, I continue to serve in ministry, dedicated to spreading the message of hope and redemption to others.
Brad Postin
Associate Pastor
I'm Brad Postin, originally from the beautiful landscapes of Southern Indiana. My life revolves around faith, family, and service. I'm dedicated to my wife, Jana, and cherish my two daughters and son deeply. Before moving to West Virginia 20 years ago, I was deeply involved in my community as a youth camp director, helping young adults find Christ. Beyond my church duties, I'm passionate about woodworking and renovations. I believe in giving back to my community and embodying the values of faith, family, and service in everything I do. Whether cheering on my grandchildren in their sports activities or rooting for IU basketball, I approach life with a casual demeanor, creativity, and a strong faith that guides my actions.
Barry Bellomy
Worship Pastor
I’ve been blessed to be the Worship Leader at Hope
Christian Center from its initial ministry and as a founding member. My
passion each week is to personally praise our Father while at the same
time bringing the congregation together to lift up the name of Jesus.
My life with Christ began at the age of 9 at a youth revival at my home
church. I was fortunate to have a Christian home and a church that I was
able to grow spiritually through my childhood and to my early adult life.
God called my wife, myself and our young children to help start a
contemporary ministry and that’s when we were blessed to help start Hope
in 1998. I am married to Angela Bellomy and have two daughters and three
grandchildren. I love to spend time outdoors either playing golf, going on
Jeep rides or taking walks and enjoying God’s beauty.
